Purchase Limits and Restrictions
(English translation*)
To ensure that buyers do not make purchases or place bids that are beyond their financial means, we occasionally set limits on how individual members can purchase. We can also restrict purchases if we believe a user has violated a LastDraw policy.
On rare occasions, we limit or restrict how much a member can buy from LastDraw. We want to encourage responsible buying behavior among our buyers and ensure that our market remains safe for both buyers and sellers.
What are purchase limits?
A purchase limit means that you cannot purchase any more items until you have completed your current purchases and orders.
If your shopping activity has been restricted, it could be for one of the following reasons:
- You are new to the site and have purchased a large number of items or very expensive items.
- You have increased your bidding or buying activity dramatically.
- The number of unpaid items or orders placed associated with your LastDraw account is disproportionate.
- You are the highest bidder in multiple auctions, but you have not yet paid for any of the items.
Preventing
Buying Limits Buying limits are rarely applied. The following tips can help you avoid limits:
- buyingOnly buy items that you want to pay for.
- Pay for items ASAP.
- Verify your identity by adding a credit card as a payment method to your account.
A small amount may be charged to your card to authorize the account. However, this will be refunded within ten days.
What are purchase restrictions?
A purchase restriction means that you cannot make purchases from LastDraw. Purchase restrictions on a LastDraw account are usually applied due to a possible violation of the policy.
If your account is limited to buying, you will not be able to buy items or bid on auctions until the problem is resolved.
Why do purchase restrictions apply?
Restrictions are usually applied when it is found that you may have violated the principles of our website. Purchase restrictions may be applied to your account in the following cases:bidding
- You are demonstrably on their own listings. This violates one of our principles: It is not permitted for someone known to the seller, such as a family member, friend, roommate or online contact, to bid on an item for its price or position in the search artificially to put high.
- You have multiple accounts and at least one of them has purchase restrictions.
- Your LastDraw account is currently being reviewed for other policy violations.
Remove purchase restrictions
If you have purchase restrictions, you will receive an email and a message in the LastDraw user account.
It explains why this action took place and what you need to do to cancel it.
